Ottawa Senators Captain Out with Injury
Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green announced that captain Brady Tkachuk will be out for six-to-eight weeks after undergoing hand surgery.
He's going to be out a significant amount of time. But we're making sure that we're taking care of him, and that we do the right thing.
Coach Green did not provide an update on Tkachuk's status prior to the game against the Seattle Kraken, but league executives confirmed that the surgery took place on Thursday afternoon.
The Ottawa Senators will have to continue without their captain for the time being.
