Indy 8 Hour, Thursday Notebook
Mercedes-AMG Team Lone Star Racing and Lin Hodenius led a 1-2-3 lockout for the Silver Arrows in the second test session for the IGTC Indianapolis 8 Hour.
Hodenius set a 1:23.156 in the #80 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, surpassing Lucas Auer in the #34 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG, while Indy 500 winner Will Power went third-quickest in the #75 75 Express Mercedes-AMG GT3 (1:23.250).
The top 15 cars were covered by less than half a second, with just 1.153 seconds covering all 25 cars. Notable performances included the #61 EBM Porsche in fourth and the two Team WRT BMWs in fifth and seventh.
