Bezzecchi Sets New Lap Record at Phillip Island
Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia Racing set a new lap record with a time of 1:26.492, leading the MotoGP pack on the first day of the Liqui Moly Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
Aprilia secured a 1-2 finish on Friday, thanks to Bezzecchi and Raul Fernandez's efforts in Practice. Fernandez improved his time late in the session to take second place, behind Bezzecchi.
