Good Fortune is a witty comedy that features a terrific performance by Keanu Reeves, although it is more gentle than laugh-out-loud funny.
The film tells a prince-and-the-pauper-style fable, but with an immediate dissonance as Aziz Ansari plays a character living out of his car, which is an unusual role for the comedian.
Ansari has a light presence, right down to the pitch of his voice; he’s gladhanding his way through his acting gigs.
