World's Smallest 'Bioprinter' Created
The ingestible device could help patients heal from the inside.
Researchers from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) School of Engineering have created a pill-sized "ingestible bioprinter".
- Uses magnets and an infrared laser to guide a capsule to ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract.
