After nearly a decade, Yellowcard has released a new album, Better Days, their first full-length effort since reuniting in 2022.
The response to the album has been overwhelmingly positive. It feels like there’s just such a positive charge around this thing.
According to frontman Ryan Key, the band's reunion has brought a renewed energy, reflecting on the time it took to deliver another record.
Key recalls the band's decision to initially disband, saying,
We’ve come a long way from where we were when we decided in a hotel room in whatever old city we were in in 2015 when we said it’s time to hang this up, we need to make a plan.
