Compared to other hospitals in the region, Naas Hospital had relatively low overcrowding. St James's Hospital and Tallaght Hospital each had three patients on trolleys, while Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown had four.
The most overcrowded facility in the eastern region was St Vincent's Hospital, with 44 patients on trolleys. In contrast, Tullamore Hospital had no patients on trolleys, and Portlaoise Hospital had two.
