Team Sturmay Wins 2025 Pre-Trials Opener
Team Sturmay, led by skip Selena Sturmay, has started their 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Curling Pre-Trials campaign with a 7-3 victory over Team Scharf.
The event is being held at the Andrew H. McCain Arena on the Acadia University campus in Wolfville, N.S.
- Team Sturmay consists of skip Selena Sturmay, vice-skip Danielle Schmiemann, second Deseray Hawes, lead Paige Papley, and coach Ted Appleman.
- The team is ranked 11th in the CTRS rankings and is among the top contenders for a berth in the 2025 Montana's Canadian Curling Trials.
