Residents across the Southern Inlands are advised to prepare for hot and windy weather, bringing the risk of falling trees and powerlines.
A severe weather warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) forecasts damaging winds across the region on Wednesday, October 22.
- High chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening
- Average wind speeds of 55 to 65 km/h
- Possible wind gusts of around 90km/h
A "hot and gusty day" is expected across parts of the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands as a frontal system moves across the state.
