The Queensland government plans to develop a "world-class mixed-use precinct" with over 4,000 homes, riverfront promenades, entertainment spaces, event lawns, and community spaces.

According to Premier David Crisafulli and Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie, the government's vision is to create a world-class mixed-use precinct.

The government is calling for submissions to develop this site, one of Brisbane's last remaining industrial riverfront areas.
