Allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse of power have engulfed Archbishop Stephen Wood, the top official of the Anglican Church in North America.
According to The Washington Post, a former children's ministry director accused Archbishop Wood of attempting to kiss her in his office in April 2024, two months before his election.
“You have evolved from something glorious into something hideous,”
said co-host Kevin Kallsen on a popular Anglican podcast, reflecting the uncertainty facing the church.
The crisis has reopened old wounds and questions of accountability, threatening the denomination's credibility.
