Vancouver Canucks Terminate Vitali Kravtsov’s Contract

The Vancouver Canucks have decided to part ways with 25-year-old Russian winger Vitali Kravtsov. General manager Patrik Allvin announced that Kravtsov was placed on unconditional waivers to facilitate the termination of his contract.

Career with the Canucks and Previous Teams

Kravtsov arrived at Vancouver's training camp in Penticton, B.C., before being assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks, the team's American Hockey League affiliate. There, he recorded one goal and three assists in 10 games.

The Canucks acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. Despite this, he spent most of the past two seasons playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
