SaskPower has informed several residents in the southwest region about a short, planned power outage near Mankota scheduled for Monday morning. The outage will begin at 9:00 a.m. and affect 34 rural customers situated west of Mankota.
According to SaskPower spokesperson Joel Cherry, the temporary shutdown is necessary to replace an aging power line in the area.
"We thank people for their patience, as always, while we do this work," said Cherry.
