BBC Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox is participating in the Great Northern Marathon Challenge to raise funds for Children In Need. Starting on Monday, November 10, she will cover 135 miles on foot across four counties in northern England: Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire.
The journey spans five marathons over five days, involving running, jogging, and walking through moorlands, ridges, and rolling hills. Sara is supported by towns, villages, Radio 2 listeners, and her family, including her husband and three children, who cheer her on.
