Boeing has shared details of its CxR unmanned tiltrotor concept, a modular drone designed to complement the US Army’s Apache and Chinook helicopters.
According to Boeing engineers, the CxR (Collaborative Transformational Rotorcraft) is a high-speed, unmanned tiltrotor capable of performing reconnaissance, strike, and transport missions.
The concept was first revealed at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2025 Annual Meeting and Exposition, held October 13-15 in Washington, D.C.
