Canadian Lobbyists' Conflict of Interest
A recent report by FMinus reveals that Canadian lobbyists represent both major polluters and environmental groups, creating a conflict of interest.
Major Canadian environmental organizations and civil society groups are using lobbyists who also work with big polluters, according to the report.
“As the climate crisis gets worse for Canadians, there’s a hidden cause,”said James Browning, founder and executive director of FMinus.
The report was prepared in conjunction with Environmental Defence and re•generation, a youth climate advocacy organization.
