Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings' Passing
The Deputy Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rashid Tanko-Computer, has described the death of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings as "terrible news" for the party.
According to Mr. Tanko-Computer, the NDC had recently begun efforts to reconcile with her and bring her closer to the fold. This decision was made after an appeal by her daughter, Dr. Zanetor.
Everybody considered her a mother of the NDC. She was instrumental in the formation of the party, and we accorded her that respect.
