HSE Nursing Service Unavailable on Tory Island
The HSE Nursing Service on Tory Island will be unavailable on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.
All planned nursing care has been delivered prior to the service interruption.
“We wish to apologise for this unplanned temporary gap in service.
A temporary solution has been arranged, with an agency nurse covering the period from Monday until Thursday next week when the nursing rota will change over.
Local healthcare providers, including GPs, pharmacies, and the Community Intervention Nursing Team, have been informed of the service interruption, as well as the Coast Guard.
The Assistant Director of Nursing has provided necessary contact details to island residents who may require support during this time.
