Former Power Minister and Phulbari MLA, Abu Taher Mondal, has been appointed as Chairman of the Meghalaya State Planning Board under Category "A" with all perks and facilities.
Mondal's appointment follows the Governor's decision to de-notify Metbah Lyngdoh from the post of Chairman of the State Planning Board.
