President Aliyev's reconstruction strategy is transforming liberated lands into drivers of economic growth.
On October 28, President Aliyev attended the opening of the first phase of Horovlu village in Jabrayil district. The village was originally occupied by Armenia in 1993 and was liberated on October 4, 2020.
- The village spans 248 hectares and features 334 individual houses.
- Modern utilities include water, electricity, gas, solar panels, and high-speed internet.
- The village also includes a 624-seat school, a 220-seat nursery-kindergarten, a medical center, and a sports-health complex.
Azerbaijan's foremost national priority is the comprehensive development of its ancient and historic lands, including Garabagh and Eastern Zangezur.
The goal is to enable the rightful inhabitants, who were forced to leave over three decades ago, to return to their ancestral homes.
