Laugh Factory Chicago Manager Arrested By Feds
Laugh Factory Chicago is crowdsourcing to assist night manager Nathan Griffin with legal funds after he was arrested Friday morning.
Griffin, who was born in America, was tackled to the ground and taken into custody by masked federal agents for attempting to intervene with an immigration operation outside the comedy club.
- At least four agents in camouflage were involved in the arrest.
- Griffin's mother, Elaine Plybon, was briefly pinned down during the incident.
“Why are you doing this? Where are you taking him?”
Bystanders shouted as Griffin was put in the backseat.
