Football Continues Strong Season, Eyeing Fourth-Straight Little Three Title

The Wesleyan football team continued its quest to become NESCAC champions with four identity-building contests after a 2–1 start.

The team played host to the Hamilton Continentals, dominating them offensively. The game started with a scoreless first quarter, including a Jack Bronikowski ’28 interception and a missed field goal by Hamilton.

The Cards struck first with a Blake Newcomb ’27 touchdown reception. The defense stopped the Continentals on 4th-down, and the Cards found the end zone again with a 42-yard touchdown from Matt Fitzsimons ’27 to Donte Kelly ’29.

Dylan Connors ’26 picked off Hamilton’s quarterback, taking the return down to the 6-yard line.

The team is on track to win their fourth-straight Little Three title.
