Police Investigation into Hoofddorp Woman's Kidnapping
According to police, the kidnapping of a 49-year-old woman from Hoofddorp is linked to a local drug trade dispute.
The woman, who remains missing, is believed to have been taken to "pressure" others involved in the conflict.
- A 29-year-old man from Beersel, Belgium, has been arrested as the sixth suspect in the case.
- Five other men were previously arrested, including two 37-year-olds from Almere and three men aged 17, 20, and 24 from Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
The woman was last seen leaving Mosselplaat in Hoofddorp at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and her vehicle was later found in the Getsewoud-Noord neighborhood of Nieuw-Vennep.
Police are working with investigators in other countries, but details of the collaboration are not being disclosed to protect the investigation.
