International Students' Scholarship Contracts to be Tightened
A recent scandal at ELTE may have significant consequences for thousands of international students in Hungary.
A lecture by Alexander Yakobson, a historian from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, was disrupted on 16 October, leading to its suspension.

The incident began when students wearing keffiyehs shouted that the lecture was political propaganda supporting Israeli genocide, causing a disturbance that couldn't be calmed.
Two ministers and the university rector demanded accountability in response to the incident.
