Ubuntu Unity Needs Help
The Ubuntu Unity project is in trouble due to its maintainer's busy schedule with studies.
Team member Maik Adamietz admitted that things aren't going well and
Unity is broken and needs to be fixed.
- Project leader Rudra Saraswat, a teenage Linux developer, has less time to work on Unity.
- Saraswat created the Unity Remix project in 2020 to revive the old Unity desktop.
The team is appealing to the wider Ubuntu community for help to keep the project going.
