Simons Empire Faculty Fellowship to Fund College of Science Positions
RIT's College of Science will receive funding from the Simons Empire Faculty Fellows program for four junior tenure-track faculty positions.
The funding will support hiring four new faculty members in priority areas, including mathematics, neuroscience, physics, and ecology and evolutionary biology.

- Physics
- Ecology and evolutionary biology
Each award is for $825,000, totaling $3.3 million, and will provide salary, fringe, and start-up support for three years.

said André Hudson, dean of the College of Science.
