Mauritania, Liberia and Gambia back RSF-initiated Dakar Declaration on Right to Information in Sahel

Declaration on Right to Information in Sahel

At the regional conference on the right to information in the Sahel, Mauritania, Liberia, and Gambia endorsed the Dakar Declaration.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) welcomes this step and calls on other countries to strengthen press freedom by adhering to the Declaration's ten principles.

Our goal: to leave no breach of freedom of information unreported.

RSF publishes a world press freedom ranking, investigation reports, and daily publications from regional offices and a network of correspondents in 115 countries.

Author's summary: Mauritania, Liberia, and Gambia back RSF's Dakar Declaration.
