Takeaways from Arkansas Basketball's Hot Springs Tip-Off Tour Scrimmage

Arkansas men's basketball coach John Calipari brought his team to Hot Springs as part of the Tip-Off Tour, a mission to engage with the rest of the state.

Last season, the Razorbacks visited Hot Springs and Pine Bluff, but were not healthy enough to scrimmage. This time, only Karim Rtail was unavailable.

“It’s good because we need to play against [Cincinnati and Memphis in exhibitions],”

Coach Calipari said, adding that the team did some good things during the scrimmage.

Forward Malique Ewin enjoyed the experience, saying

“It was fun, just getting out and exploring Arkansas a little more,”
and appreciating the opportunity to play with his teammates.

This was the team's first competitive scrimmage in front of a crowd, outside of an uncompetitive game at Primetime at the Palace on Oct. 3.
