First Ride: The Priority Vanth Plows Through Rough Terrain with Impressive Stability
We tested the new Priority Vanth on the trails at Whistler bike park to see how it handles. Riding a prototype bike with a unique suspension linkage, gearbox, and Gates belt drive was a thrilling experience.
In September, I rode a prototype Priority Vanth in the Whistler Bike Park and was impressed by its ability to handle rough terrain and corner with stability. Given the limited time and non-production components, I focused on the Vanth's suspension qualities.
- The bike handled rough runs with ease, despite being a 165mm travel bike.
- It felt well-balanced front-to-back.
- The belt drive system did not have any noticeable negative effects.
