By Ashima Shukla, Staff Writer

The documentary invites us to witness how India’s farmers’ cultivated resistance.

Directed by Nishtha Jain, the documentary screening and Q&A were co-hosted by the Hari Sharma Foundation, South Asian Network for Secularism and Democracy (SANSAD), and SFU’s Institute for the Humanities.

The author reflects on the surreal experience of watching the documentary far from home, reconnecting with her homeland through collective emotions.
