Zidane Reflects on Juventus and Real Madrid
Zinedine Zidane has shared his experiences with Juventus and the night that led to his transfer to Real Madrid in 2001.
Speaking at the Festival dello Sport in Trento, Zidane discussed his time with Juventus, where he played with Alessandro Del Piero.
When I came from France, the football was great, but not as great as it was at Juve. I came to understand what winning meant there, the fact that we had to do it all the time, even away from home.
Zidane joined Juventus from Bordeaux in 1996 and credits this move with teaching him the importance of winning.
