Election Day 2025 Live Updates
Voters in the Bronx are heading out to vote in the mayoral election.
The 2025 NYC mayoral election is underway, with voters deciding between Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa.
In addition to the mayoral election, New Yorkers will also vote in local elections for Borough President, City Comptroller, Public Advocate, and City Council members.
Voters will also answer six ballot questions, including three related to affordable housing.
A notable race is the East Bronx District 13 council race, where Republican incumbent Kristy Marmorato faces a challenge from Democrat Shirley Aldobol.
The two candidates recently discussed President Donald Trump, public safety, and local development projects in a BronxNet debate.
