SI strengthens geological ties with China
The Solomon Islands Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the China Geological Survey.
The MOU was signed on October 23, 2025, in Tianjin, China, by Solomon Islands Ambassador to China, His Excellency Barret Salato, and Vice President of China Geological Survey, Mr Xu Xueyi.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the China Mining Conference, held from October 23 to 25, 2025.
