Lincoln Fire Marshal Facing Federal Child Porn Charges Surrenders State License
The Fire Marshal for the town of Lincoln, Rhode Island, Jeffrey Almond, 41, has surrendered his health license after being charged with receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material and sending obscene material to minors.
- One count of receipt of child pornography
- One count of possession of child pornography
- Two counts of attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor
According to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Boston, Almond also engaged in sexually explicit chats with purported minors.
The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) announced that Almond surrendered his health license in a consent decree.
He was indicted on federal charges in August.
