Fatal Highway 29 Crash Caused by Speeding Driver

A speeding driver was at fault for a fatal crash on Highway 29 in Cantonment, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday night, involving a Chevrolet Equinox SUV and a passenger car. The crash happened south of the paper mill, near Woodbury Circle.

The driver of the car was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in critical condition. Her passenger, a 30-year-old Cantonment man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
