Rangers Narrow Managerial Shortlist to Two Contenders
Rangers have reduced their managerial shortlist to two candidates after facing rejections, according to sources.
The club is still seeking a replacement for Russell Martin, who was sacked following a 1-1 draw with Falkirk.
- Steven Gerrard was initially considered for the position but pulled out of the race.
- Sean Dyche also declined the opportunity to take the job.
Danny Rohl, who left Sheffield Wednesday over the summer, is currently the favorite for the position, but is competing with another unnamed candidate.
Rangers weren’t able to get the deal over the line with the former Liverpool man pulling out of the race.
