Renell Robert was known for the words “So beautiful,” a phrase that captured his spirit. Born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, to Dorothy and Lester, Rob had a deep love for his home state. From fishing and hunting to family luncheons and Tulane football, Renell’s passions reflected his dedication to loved ones and tradition.

After graduating from Gonzales High School, Renell proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. As a decorated Vietnam veteran, he continued his education at Southeastern Louisiana University. For over 30 years, he worked alongside his brothers at Ciba Geigy/Syngenta.

Known as “Fix-It,” Renell had a knack for restoring broken things and bringing beauty back to life. He enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and cherishing each day with his wife of 13 years, Lillie.

Family and Legacy

His greatest loves were his daughters, Robyn and Rebecca, whom he spoke of with immense pride and affection.
Renell was the older brother to Phyllis, Dale, Faryl, Rickey, Kirk, and Keeley, making the Robert household lively and full of joy.
He adored his grandchildren: Sophia, Gavin, Cohen, Colin, Connor, Kaylee, Brady, Chloe, Max, and Bellamie, whom he loved dearly.
