IUCN Members have adopted a 20-year Strategic Vision and a four-year Programme to guide the Union's work up to 2030.
"The world is shifting beneath our feet with startling speed. Biodiversity loss has not been halted, and is converging with climate change, pollution, and inequality in ways never experienced before," said H.E. IUCN President Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak.
The IUCN President expressed optimism about the Union's ability to address complex challenges, citing its capacity, knowledge, and collective will. The key areas of focus include data, analysis, convening, and action.
The IUCN is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network, offering various tools, publications, and resources.
