Indonesia's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, announced that the government will provide incentives for companies investing in ethanol production facilities.
This move aims to support the country's plan to introduce mandatory 10% bioethanol fuel blending by 2027.
“There will definitely be incentives, possibly tax holidays, and of course, a guaranteed market,”
Bahlil also mentioned potential investment from Brazil, with ongoing discussions following a memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
