New 600-MW Texas Solar Project to Power Meta Data Centers
ENGIE North America has entered a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Meta for the new 600-MW Swenson Ranch Solar project in Stonewall County, Texas.
The project, located southeast of Lubbock, will be the largest asset in ENGIE's portfolio of over 11 GW of operating and under-construction solar, wind, and battery storage assets in North America.
Expected to be operational in 2027, the Swenson Ranch Solar project will supply 100% of its output to support Meta's data center operations in the United States.
"We are excited to continue the expansion of our relationship with Meta," said Dave Carroll, CEO and Chief Renewables Officer for ENGIE North America.
