Keegan Murray to Undergo Thumb Surgery
Kings forward Keegan Murray has been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb.
Murray injured his thumb in the second quarter of Friday's preseason game vs. Portland and will undergo surgery.
- He will be reevaluated in four-to-six weeks.
- The injury may impact his ability to negotiate a rookie scale extension before October 20.
The 25-year-old won't have the opportunity to make a final case for a new deal on the court this week.
Murray had a promising rookie season, averaging 12 points.
