Russia Tests New Nuclear-Powered Cruise Missile
Russia has successfully tested a new nuclear missile with an almost unlimited range that is "invincible".
President Vladimir Putin announced that the nuclear-powered Burevestnik cruise missile, a nuclear-capable weapon, can pierce any defence shield and will be deployed.
- The test was conducted on October 21.
- The missile travelled 14,000km and was in the air for about 15 hours.
Russia will never bow to pressure from the West over the war in Ukraine.
This test, along with a nuclear drill last week, sends a message as US President Donald Trump takes a tougher stance against Moscow to push for a ceasefire.
