About the Musical

The Queen of Versailles is inspired by Lauren Greenfield’s acclaimed 2012 documentary and the true story of Jackie and David Siegel. From a computer engineer to Mrs. Florida, then billionaire, Jackie Siegel embodies the American Dream.

Together with her husband David, known as "The Timeshare King," and their eight children, they embark on building the largest private home in America—a $100 million mansion in Orlando, Florida, modeled after the Palace of Versailles.
